Refund Policy
**Customers of Maine-ly Titles, Inc., the company which operates this website, may be granted a refund on a case-by-case basis at our sole, absolute discretion.
If we do not receive all of the required paperwork and fees within 90 days of receiving the initial registration fee payment unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon, the customer will henceforth be ineligible for a refund. Any original documents that we had received will be returned. All refund amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis.
If you choose the “Full-Service Option” and we fail to obtain your title, Maine-ly Titles, Inc. will gladly issue you a refund. The amount of refund may be less than the original amount paid to cover incurred expenses. Incurred expenses may include but are not limited to NCIC check, lien check, VIN check, consultant, administrative fees, amount of time spent working on the project, and other third-party costs associated with obtaining your title.
If you cancel your request for a title with Maine-ly Titles, Inc., we will issue a refund less a $150 cancellation fee per item plus any additional incurred expenses.
If you choose the “Do-It-Yourself” option, Maine-ly Titles, Inc. will apply the “Do It Yourself” fee towards the purchase of the “Full-Service Option.”
NO REFUND WILL BE GRANTED for any vehicle determined to have been acquired unlawfully (stolen).
We reserve the right to retain a service fee for applications processed and rejected by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles or for any vehicle determined to have a lien which was not disclosed at the time of application. Amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis. Orders for a title with incomplete or inaccurate information may incur additional fees.
Once agreed upon, you should expect to receive your refund within four weeks. However, in most cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This period includes the time it takes us to process your refund and the time it takes the bank or credit card processor to process the payment.
